How long does shipping take?

  • Your package will ship 4 to 6 business days from ordering. 

  • Your tracking number will be automatically emailed to you. Therefore, as soon as your package ships, please check all inboxes as it may be placed in your 'Junk' or 'Spam' folder.

  • Items purchase online and paid on our website, unless requested otherwise, are shipped from Ottawa, Canada using Canada Post Xpress Post.

  • FREE Pick-Up Option is available to customers within the Ottawa, ON region. The store location is within the St Laurent area, and pick-up address will be sent via email upon confirmation of the order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we’ve expanded our shipping range worldwide.

May I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it.

May I change my order?

You can request to change your order within 24 hours of ordering. Your request may be denied if your order is already in the process of being filled.

Return Policy

  • After 24 hours, sales are final unless damaged on our behalf.

  • If any promotion such as a discount code or free shipping is applied to your order it is final sale.

  • Sale items and promotions are FINAL SALE no exceptions unless there is a damage created on our behalf. 

  • If you would like to exchange an item it will take an additional 6-12 business days for the new order to ship and you’ll be charged for the shipping.

Will my order look exactly like the one I saw online?

Because each item is cut from a sheet of Ankara or Kente material, variations in the pieces are to be expected. No two items in the collection are exactly alike; this makes the experience more interesting and unique.

H0w do I maintain my bag?

Omalicha Something (OS) bags are handcrafted, just for you, using a fabric that is symbolic to a native culture from West Africa; therefore, they should be cared for with the best intentions and respect. Here are some tips to help:

•Avoid putting heavy items in your OS bag. Use as a statement piece to carry small essentials. 

•Our bags come with a dust bag which is there to help protect your bags from dust and dirt during storage. 

•Do not place things on your bag such as clothes, or other bags as this will distort the structure of the bag.

•Avoid getting oil and food stains on your bag.

•To clean the bag, we recommend using laundry pens such as Tide to go, Alibi, etc.

•Do not use bleach on your bag.

•After cleaning your bag allow it to air dry properly before storing.
