I'm a fashion and beauty trend observer, and streetwear enthusiast. 2022 was full of cool fashion trends which not only went viral on social media but were also adapted to everyday streetwear.

Hoochie Daddy Short
Seeing men confidently show off their ass and quads drove us wild this summer. These stylish shorts run above the knee, and were worn by the likes of Kevin Hart and LeBron James. Crystal Eyes
Another fashion trend that we observed on the red carpet and in the streets is the use of gems or Swarovski crystals (for rich people) in makeup. This is a creative and easy way to accentuate your unique eye shape. All you need is a steady hand, tweezers and some gems. A slick trick to have the gems stay on all night is to use some clear eyelash glue to stick them on to your face. If you're interested in trying this trend then you can check Walmart, the dollar store or Claire's for some gems.

Bleached Brows
A lighter brow softens the face, and highlights the other unique features of your face.
This trend is positive in the self love category because our physical uniqueness is a flex and should always be celebrated.
A lighter brow look is not for the weak as it draws lots of attention to the face. If you're like us and only take calculated risks then you might want to start off using a makeup brow tint to test out the look before opting to bleach those brows. You can find several selections of makeup brow tint at Sephora, Walmart or Shoppers Drugmart.

This marks the year where gloves that go over the elbow officially transitioned from upper class formal attire into everyday streetwear. Opera gloves are a great addition to any wardrobe and will add a confident, sexy and opulent vibe to your look. This fashion trend have been spotted on fashion icons including Rihanna, Beyonce, and your favourite fashion influencers. 2023 Projections
We hope to see the Durag make a comeback in 2023 in both men and women’s fashion. Bead Fashion is popular in West Africa, and we’ll love to see it finally make its way here to North America.
